Wow. Really looking forward to the continuation of this article. Fascinating how the TV depiction of Lucifer broke with the comic series, but I suppose understandable. Many moments during reading this, my hair stood on end with deep realizations. Thank you.

Thank you! This is a very deep deep look at the meaning of freedom and how it relates to us as humans. I am going to be rereading and rereading. Love the part about Spider-Man! Not familiar with that story of course as an old Grandma but it does highlight as does your paragraph after that how we are often in this world faced with totally impossible choices. As the saying goes we are forced to pick between the “lesser of two evils”. Someone I know was always throwing out these hypothetical situations in which it seemed like you had no alternatives there was only this way or that way and neither one was the right thing to do or would in some way cause harm. I am not a fan of that sort of thinking and feel like as a Christian we have to believe Nothing is Impossible with God and that if we choose to do His Will yes it might cost us our life, physical life that is, just as Christ willing sent to the cross if we also choose to do that the consequences will be God’s Will. I think that even as a Baptized Believer it is hard in the moment to do that however, and I have failed so often but again nothing is impossible with God and I know He offers Grace Mercy and Forgiveness. So this is my personal understanding but I am having a hard time understanding exactly how that connects to the “ ontology” of humans….. I do believe that we are Created inherently good with the potential to become and grow into the likeness of God so here is my question are you saying that we do not have any other potential? That we may choose again and again to use our God given free will to go against His will but we can not annihilate ourselves or cease to be the immortal spirits we are? And if so that still to me doesn’t really rule out that yes we will be forever alive suffering the love of God ( His rays of Sonshine) as a burning fire? Or are you as in a previous article I think saying that at some point when “ God is all in all” and “everything has been brought into subjection” that mankind will no longer be looking at darkness as he turns from God and experiencing His Love as a burning fire but that there will no longer be any darkness and mankind will have been purified by God’s fire( love) and so we will live in that “ never- ending day” of God’s Kingdom in which Christ is the Morningstar? Appreciate you ! 💞☦️
